KEN McMULLEN - Pianist
Ken is a professional pianist, teacher and vocal coach. He has performed numerous musical theatre productions at Theatre at the Center, Drury Lane Oakbrook and is the resident musical director at Metropolis Performing Arts Center. Ken is also the pianist for a number of bands that tour all over the country including being the music director/conductor/pianist for CLOSE TO YOU: Music of the Carpenters. Ken has also done many cabaret shows throughout the Chicago area including numerous performances at Davenports. Before moving to Chicago in 2003, Ken performed aboard Carnival Cruise Lines as a rock/jazz pianist for almost 6 years. He continues to play jazz in several jazz combos and private concerts. Ken plays piano for many ballet/dance companies in Chicago and is the principal pianist for the Lincolnshire Academy of Dance. He is also the pianist for the Chicago Gay Mens chorus. Ken continues to perform all while teaching piano and vocal coaching. His degree is in music education with a stress on classical performance.

RICHARD J. TROST - Pianist
Richard’s love of music started at an early age and can be heard throughout every performance. Richard Trost was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and has performed both instrumentally and vocally throughout his high school and collegiate career at North Park University in Chicago. A natural born singer and musician, Richard has accompanied musical theatre vocalists and instrumentalists since high school and has performed in a variety of venues in the Chicago and San Francisco Bay areas. When Richard isn't singing or playing, he likes to spend time teaching Spanish, piano, voice, ESL, volunteering and spending quality time with friends and family. Richard is available for any event and specializes in weddings.

JOHN SUMMERS - Bassist
John has been playing acoustic and electric bass professionally for 20 years. As a free-lance player he has played over 170 professional and community theatre shows for over 50 different production companies. He has and does play in various bands playing rock, country, swing, and 1920s music. Non-professionally, John also plays French Horn and guitar, and has dabbled as an actor and author.

DAVID ORLICZ - Woodwinds
David is a woodwind specialist who performs regularly throughout the Chicago area. His musical interests include a wide variety of genres, including classical, jazz, Latin, Irish, and classical Indian. He performs on flutes, clarinets, saxophones, oboe & english horn, bassoon & contrabassoon, EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument), harmonicas, and several ethnic wind instruments from around the world. This versatility has led him to play or conduct for almost 200 musical theater productions at venues that include the Drury Lane, Paramount, Marriott-Lincolnshire, Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, and CIBC theaters. He plays lead alto sax with the Jazz Community Big Band at venues that include Fitzgerald's and the Jazz Showcase, and has spent time at sea playing for Norwegian and Celebrity cruise lines. David taught band for 14 years at Hoffman Estates High School, and has served on the boards for non-profits that include the DuPage Symphony Orchestra and Normal Moments, a non-profit providing support services to parents of critically ill or medically fragile children.

DAVID B. ALLEN - Pianist
David Allen is known by many of his peers as the “Human Jukebox”. His vast repertoire covers all genres of music. A self-taught piano player, David began playing the piano by ear at the age of 4. He quickly followed in the footsteps of his father, a music teacher and professional piano player. David was playing professionally long before he could even drive to the gigs. After college, David played with the local Chicago jam band Mr. Blotto, providing piano and Hammond B3 Organ from 1993-2005. Blotto played at many big rooms including the Vic, Skyline Stage, and House of Blues as well as Taste of Chicago, Summerfest and other festivals. He also continued to play many piano bar gigs during this time. For the last 6 years, David has done Dueling Pianos almost exclusively - playing with Chicago Dueling Pianos. David’s quick wit and engaging personality make him a formidable dueling performer.
